Week #6 2015

2.6.15

These weeks are flying by. We take one day at a time and each seem to always have some kind of trouble that life brings but I can honestly say at the end of each day I am thankful who I spent the day with.

Cain is the light at the end of the my tunnel. Friday I did my normal Earth Fare grocery shopping but when I went to leave something not normal happened. My car wouldn't start! Which is frustrating anytime it happens but we had just put a new battery in it two weeks before so I thought "What could it be this time?!"

Thankfully Cain was just down the road working at Parkview. He was able to take a few minutes off to come save me. He was able to get my car started and brighten my day up. His smile is so comforting and I can't but smile back. ..

2.7.15

We headed to Bluffton for the weekend to spend time with my parents and go to a Wedding!

My good looking hubby wasn't to thrilled about me taking pictures that day but he played along for me ;)

2.8.15

My first wrestling meet of the year was short but very fun to watch. Sam is Cain's little cousin (Even though he is not so little anymore) We are so so proud of the kind of kid he is. We love watching him go above and beyond when it comes to any sport but what we love must his is character.

I do brag about him often. So get used to it! Here he is about to pin this kid ...

2.9.15

Oh lazy mornings with Nova .... She always takes my spot when I get up in the morning!

 2.10.15

Sorry for all the Nova (not)

Does she not look like a puppy in this first pic? Reminds me of when she was just a little girl.

2.11.15

Sneak peek into our NEW bedroom!

And NEW office!

2.12.15

Cain not waiting until Valentines Day to give me my favorite kind of flowers... the ones that doesn't die the next week!

We ended our week at another wrestling meet. This time Cain got to come with me! And yes, Sam pinned both of the boys he wrestled.

Again, Sam you make us so proud!

Wrestling meet 3/8

Saturday mornings this time of year means Wrestling meet. It's a good thing I actually enjoy the meets or else I'd be stuck there board to death! Cain loves wrestling and loves even more I think helping Sam his cousin. Like I said in the last post about wrestling meets (HERE), you get up extremely early to go sit and a over crowed gym for hours to watch sometimes a 2 minute match. And then you sit and wait again.... and again. But it's always worth the wait once you see the kid you came to watch win, or at least have a good match even if it ends with a loss.

As you can see, things get dense when it comes down to the match.

I'm on one side of the gym and there's Cain on the other side helping coach.

We love watching the Fiechter boys wrestle. They are great athletes but also have great character on and off the mat. William won this match in points.

Let's talk about these Mom's of the wrestlers. Talk about super moms really. They have to pack food the night before for the wrestlers, they have to make sure their boys are up early and at the school before the bus leaves. Then they have to drive far to the meet's, and they sit and watch... alllll daayyyyy.... And then once they boys are up... they video tape and cheer on the wrestler... ALL at the same time! Talk about multi tasking! They don't miss a beat either.

I'll be that mom one day I'm sure of it!

He's smiling because I'm taking his picture... and there's nothing he can do about it! HA!

Those hands of his. I'm a nut really, why on earth would I look at hands and think "I want to take a picture!" I can't tell you. All I know is I love hands and take pictures of them, often.

Gotta love the wins.

Cain says he actually rather be in the stands then coaching. Reason being, he can say whatever we wants to the ref when in the stands, on the chairs you have to be a little less vocal lol

We love seth!

Here is our Aunt Trish. She is a great mom! I love how involved they are with Michaela and Sam. But she also is a great aunt to us. We are thankful for her!

And Uncle Micheal. We love all our uncles, but Uncle Michael has always been such a great support to Cain and I through the last 3 years. He as been there for Cain all through middle school and high school. We are also very thankful for him...

See how packed the gym is?! It's crazy how many bodies you can fit into one building.

I think these pins are so cool. Just how they can be so strong to pin someone up side down like!

Gettings his points...

Readying to pin to the kid...

Still ready to pin the kid, waiting on the reff to see the pin...

And there it is!! Pinned ya, pinned ya again.

The long day waiting is okay with me to see the hands rise showing the win. Go Sam!

Hey, who's ready for a party?! Church then at 2:00 is the His and Her party my sister is hosting! Can't wait to see everyone... Means a whole lot to have such great support from friends and family!

Weekends come and go

Sorry about the lack of posting this past weekend. It was a busy one! But I took lots of pictures!

So Hmm let's see where do I start? I know! Friday morning Nova was caught by Cain cuddling up to me!

You might see something a bit odd about this picture. So let's play a game... guess what is NOT right in this picture above!

Figure it out yet??

My ring is on my middle finger!!! Why you might ask. Well, we didn't want to get it sent in to get resized until AFTER all the holidays. Thanksgiving, Cain's birthday, Christmas and last but at least new years! So since it was to big we have bought a couple ring spacers to fill in the cap. Well it broke thursday night so I had to place it on the middle finger to make sure it wouldn't fall off that night!

But I have good news, we went in yesterday to Zales and it's being shipped out today to be resized. It should be back and on my ring finger the 31st! SO FAR AWAY! :(

So Friday we had plans to head to Fort-Wayne for a trip into USF and house hunting. But changed our minds we remembering we would be in fort-wayne Sunday and Cain would be in Fort-Wayne Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.... oh yeah and Friday due to classes starting! So we stayed at home.

Cain got out his backpack he used last year before leaving for Basic. He found this little treasure. Not the ring. The fire sauce packet. I remember him saving that packet, us joking that he should propose by handing me the fire sauce while I ate my taco. Even then Cain knew he would do something much more special. Which he did! If you haven't heard the story you are missing out! Go check it out HERE <<<

Nova getting a nice brushing.

Oh how we love that Husky butt!

We ended up going over to the grandparents that afternoon. Something we love to do and wish we could do more of! They are the best people I have ever met. I love how the treat me like their own grandkid and care about Cain and I's relationship. They have also been huge supporters of us. We value that a lot.

Saturday was spent working. Cain worked morning/after I worked afternoon/evening. So besides the early morning we didn't get to spend much time together. Before leaving for my work I gathered up ALL the papers we have from last year. SO MUCH PAPER! Mostly it's all Cain's. I've noticed the Military loves handing out paper that you have to keep forever. I started realizing if I didn't get a hold of all this stuff now it would be a nightmare later on. So, into a folder they will go. Safe and ready to pull out when needed.

Wrestling season has began! My favorite high school sport of all time. I was introduced to this sport the year Cain and I started dating. I didn't know how I felt about seeing him or frankly ANY guy in a singlet. I will be honest and say I thought it was a big joke! What guy would actually wear something like that? And for awhile I thought maybe Cain was joking about actually wearing it.

Well I came to find out real fast that he wasn't. And that this sport was more then just "fighting" it was a mental sport, along with having skills!

I LOVED watching Cain wrestle and was very sad his senior year that he wasn't able to finish. But now we get to watch Sam (Cain's cousin) every year. Or at least until he graduates. And by then, maybe we will have a little Cain taking shots in a adorable singlet! (Can. Not. Wait!)

Cain doing drills with Sam.

Seth getting in on the action.

Sam is the best kid. Must have gotten it from Cain ;)

While sitting there they got a visit from Derrek! (Cain's brother)

Boys.

Poor Seth.

Wrestling season calls for early mornings and long days. But it's worth it, once it's show time!

Uncle Michael filming. He is the best uncle, and is right about everything! That's just a side note and hopefully brownie points if he reads this ;)

Gotta love a win!

It was a great day! Happy to see everyone and get to spend time with Derrek and Cat! I love Cain's family, who I am glad to call mine now :)
