Life is meant to be enjoyed....

This summer was busy for me. I nannied for two different families, kept a very steady flow of pictures/videos and spent almost every weekend with my parents. And of course Cain and I had lots of relaxing evenings staying at home watching a couple seasons of Scrubs!

Once I looked at the calendar I realized how soon school would be starting for Cain and my busiest season for pictures would be here before I knew it! I wanted to plan a very quick get away for the two of us to just spend some time together.

I went to our calendar and looked for the next day that we both had off work.... Hmmm. Few and far! But I did move things around enough to get us one day alone! I'm so thankful we made it work!

I'm really happy we made this trip happen. Although I could have spent the day working I am happy I was away to soak up some quality time with my hubby. Even when we ran low on gas and needed to walk 1 mile to a gas station to get gas and bring it back... I was still enjoying my day with Cain!

This lady stopped to help Cain with the picture ... Haha I couldn't stop laughing!

Cain loves the GoPro

We like to listen to music on the bike, so we each have our headphones hooked up to our phones. Well while we were at a gas station on the way to South Haven we were about to get on the motorcycle and I had my helmet on already with music going.

I was dancing very silly next to Cain trying to embarrass him (I enjoy to do that sometimes!) and then he started dancing along side with me. Then a older man pulled up next to us in a truck. Cain kind of stopped and then gave me the "okay we should probably stop now" Look ... I continued on to make him blush a little haha I'm sure it looked very silly me dancing with a helmet on with no music going outside my headphones haha.

The man got out of his car and said something to Cain, I couldn't hear with my music going. I saw Cain laugh and nod at the man. Cain then smiled at me :) Later I asked what the man said.

Older man - "Life is meant to be enjoyed"

I couldn't agree more! I never want to stop having fun with Cain, doing silly things just to make each other laugh and to take time out of our busy lives to travel and explore!

P.S ... These photos were taken in 2013 on the same beach as the one above! We weren't even engaged yet! Time is flying by ...
