Half & Half | October 1st

Right now our house looks half Summer time - half Fall time ... And it's a hot/chilly mess.
I've started to bring out the Autumn decor but I'm trying to find hiding places for my summer flowery things in the mean time. I just need to go out and get some storage bins for my fake flowers and some flower stands for my real plants so they can find a place inside for the upcoming winter months.
This time last year we were still in our little apartment, I really didn't decorate because I knew we would be moving soon. So this is my first time really setting up house for Autumn and I'm pretty excited about it. I just wish I could hit the lottery to Hobby Lobby first.
Today was a great first day of October. Cain and I were able to spend the whole morning together. While I worked we watched some new episodes from our favorite TV shows (We love our Hulu time) And then after Cain was home from his first class we got the bikes out to ride downtown to eat lunch.
Nova of course came with and it was just a beautiful day to be outside. I cherish these days in October that we get to spend time together. Between my work and his school and life, October is a stressful month. But I'm learning to cut back and enjoy my time even if that means not getting work done as fast as I would like.
So to October "BRING IT ON!" and to myself "YOU GOT THIS!"
