Emma Grace has arrived, thankful for that
Monday, November 4, 2013
November 3rd | Thankful for: NICU at Parkview North. That's where sweet Emma grace was sent soon after she was born. I'm so thankful for their quick and great care they have given to my niece. I'm also thankful for the fact that Lana is doing great. Just now waiting on Emma to starting breathing on her own and for the Smith family to go home and start their new life :)
November 4th: Thankful for: CHRISTMAS decorations! I was very happy to even hear one christmas song today! Nothing makes me happier then those jingles hehe Tonight I walked into Lowe's to pick up Cain and just slowly walked back and forth through the christmas stuff.
Let it be Christmas!

28 days of thankfulness
Saturday, November 2, 2013
Part of the many things I have planned for this month I would like to take the next 26 days and spend time thinking and appreciate the blessings in my life. Some may be small, but I think I should be more grateful for even the little things. So leading up to Thanksgiving, everyday I will say something I am thankful for! I'm already behind one day so I will double up in this post!
November 1st | Thankful for: The friendship with the mom's I babysit for.
I am very grateful for the relationships I have been able to keep with these mothers. They trust me with their kids when they aren't able to be there. But they don't have to care about my life, my troubles or my happiness, honestly. But yet all of them have. Jodi is like my second mom, I feel like her daughter. And I value that friendship with her. When she cries, I cry. If I cry, she will cry! It's always been this way. This being my last year with Graci has been sad at times because I don't want to stop being close with her family. But I truly believe we will stay just as close while Graci get's older. Because I know I'm not just the "babysitter" I'm a close friend of the family. And I have a friend in Jodi that I would hate to lose.
Another mom I appreciate is Kellie. Although I am only there twice out of the month she is always asking how I am and remembers the little things I might tell her. She get's excited about the things I am excited about and I will never forget how thoughtful she was while Cain was away at Basic and AIT. She asked about Cain without me having to bring it up.
I have watched many kids the last 10 years and all of their mom's have been thoughtful to me. So I am not only grateful for the job of babysitting, but finding a friend in the moms.
November 2nd | Thankful for: My parents. This is something I feel like they know, and everyone else around me knows. I am very open with the fact of how great I think my parents are. What I am most thankful for is the love they have for each other. I know what true love is, because they show it everyday for each other and everyone they know. They have taught me to always be better not bitter. And to love people for who they are. At times that is hard, but they prove it can be done so I hope I can grow to be like them. Amazing role models for Cain and I. And our future children :)
What are you grateful for today?

Start of November
Happy November! I have been looking forward to this month for a few reasons! And they are...
A) I am going to be Aunt!
B) It's Cain and I's Anniversary month
C) Work slows down
D) I can go back to working out full time
E) I can do my vegan Thanksgiving meal!
Okay so yes I am going to be a first time aunt! WHAT?! Can this be? And it's coming sooner then I thought! Tomorrow is the big day! Unless Lana starts to go into labor, like now! Which would be fine with me. Besides the fact Cain is at drill this weekend so I would hate for him to not be around! I keep everyone posted on how lana is and of course Emma Grace :)
Cain and I have big plans for our anniversary! Well I guess to some other people it wouldn't be that big, but we are planning on going ice skating like we did last year. We think it would be nice to do the same thing every year, or until we have a wedding anniversary :)
Work hasn't slowed down quite yet, actually it's doing the opposite :/ I have THREE sessions today. And then a couple this week, and next weekend! After that though I think it will slow down and then I have to wait for the snow to come, and then pictures should pick back up!
While work was slower this summer I was able to do my normal working out, I enjoy going to the gym and having some time to myself, or better yet some time just with Cain! But once pictures start up I have to put that on the back burner to stay ahead on pictures and editing. It sucks because I feel so much better when working out, so around this time I'm stress from working and don't get to take it out on anything! So once this week is over it's back in the game with running! My goal is to do 40 miles this month, and step it up in December with 50 or 60 :)
Oh and yes it's turkey month! For everyone else that is. I have never been a big turkey or ham lover. I like the dinner rolls and gravy to much to have room for meat! This past year has been a big change in my daily diet and I have cut out most all meat, besides salmon. I do have that probably once a month. I don't eat any processed food, and cut out dairy because it upsets my stomach to much. The last thing I have cut is gluten. And no it's not because I have a gluten seneitvity I am just concerned with the affect it has on your body and health. Do the search and you might think the same :)
So I decided I will make me a vegan/gain free thanksgiving meal for me and to share with my family. I realized I am going to have to make some yummy dishes if I am going to want to also eat at Cain's side of the families thanksgiving! They always have such yummy other foods that I might want to sneak a bite of theirs if I'm not prepared! ;)
Well I'm off to do my first photo shoot of the day. It's a Senior, family, then engagement session tonight!
